Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP landscape administration, system upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the core SAP technical infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain SAP environments (ERP, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, Fiori, etc.)
  • Manage SAP system copies, client copies, transports, kernel upgrades, and support packages
  • Monitor SAP systems using Solution Manager and other tools for availability and performance
  • Perform performance tuning of SAP systems and databases (HANA, Oracle, MS SQL)
  • Manage SAP user administration, roles, and authorizations
  • Perform database backups, restores, and implement disaster recovery procedures
  • Coordinate with development and functional teams to ensure optimal SAP landscape performance
  • Troubleshoot system errors, job failures, and integration issues (RFC, IDocs, ALE, PI/PO, etc.)
  • Conduct SAP patching, system refreshes, and support infrastructure upgrades
  • Ensure security compliance, system documentation, and change management policies

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator/Developer in enterprise environments
  • Strong experience with SAP NetWeaver administration
  • Experience with HANA, Oracle, or MS SQL database platforms
  • Proficient in UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Hands-on experience with Solution Manager 7.2
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA conversion/migration projects
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SAP Cloud Connector is a plus
  • SAP Certifications in BASIS/HANA are an added advantage
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA implementation and upgrade experience
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Gateway configurations
  • Understanding of SAP security concepts and GRC integration
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation in SAP environments
